This product can be locked. To lock the gate into position, pull up on the locking pin and slide the adjustment device towards the center of the gate.

Would my cat be able to open the pet door on her own or does it always need to stay open for her to be able to walk thru?

If the small pet door is not screwed into lock position, your pet should be able to push through it, but it only moves manually.

Can you use two gates next to each other for added width?

This gate attaches to your walls with pressure mounts on both sides and would not be suitable next to another gate.

Ehh I guess I ordered the wrong one

Years ago i ordered a pet gate from chewy. I moved and it must have stayed at the rental place since it was placed in the attic. I got in my account here to order

Years ago i ordered a pet gate from chewy. I moved and it must have stayed at the rental place since it was placed in the attic. I got in my account here to order the exact same one since I liked it so much. The one that arrived is different. I can’t get it to tighten to the walls. I don’t want to drill into the wall and the previous gate I had didn’t require drilling to work which is why I loved it so much. So I guess I didn’t order the right one.

Sad little pet door...

You get what you pay for with this gate. It's pretty short and unsteady, but the worst part is, unless you have something along the lines of a guinea pig or other

You get what you pay for with this gate. It's pretty short and unsteady, but the worst part is, unless you have something along the lines of a guinea pig or other rodent, the pet door is worthless. My cats could barely fit through it. Sure, I have a couple big cats, but even the small ones had trouble getting through. Not worth the money - glad Chewy takes returns.

Not a great choice for my needs

I like that this has a tiny dog door and that it stays put well. However, it’s a little tedious to tighten and I don’t want to keep it in place all the time. Also,

I have two I’m using them one in a nontraditional way. I have cats in my house and dogs, but I have your two cats that live outside and it’s just so cold here in Washington. Then I put a kitty door in my laundry room but there is a opening on the top and my other cats could’ve gotten in or they could get out so I use the gate for that.

It just wouldn’t work

This seemed like a good gate. It’s well made and held in place by pressure. The mechanism to lock it in place screws down. Well, it just wouldn’t hold the gate

This seemed like a good gate. It’s well made and held in place by pressure. The mechanism to lock it in place screws down. Well, it just wouldn’t hold the gate in place. I also had great difficulty turning the mechanism. It wouldn’t move. I want to tank Chewy for their return policy.
