Has anyone fed this to dog with Pancreatitis?

If the dog is less than 10 pounds, how much would you feed?

Feed alone or use as a tasty topper with dry food. When fed alone, use 1 pack daily for every 12 lbs. body weight. If feeding with typical dry dog food reduce dry by 2/3 cup for every 1 pack of wet. Adjust the amount of food fed to meet your dog's individual needs. Always provide access to fresh water.

Does this food require weaning onto from other foods?

It's recommended to slowly transition your pet to Caru stews over a period of about 7 days so that the new food is not a sudden shock to their system. Mix 25% of the new food in with 75% of the current food for the first 2 days, then mix 50% new food with 50% existing food for the next 2 days, then mix 75% new food with 25% current food for the next 2 days. By day seven, you can feed your dog 100% new food. If your pet experiences any kind of digestive upset during this time, try slowing down the process.

Not at all what I expected

It’s very runny and resembles “slop”. My dog won’t even look at it let alone eat it. There are a couple pieces of a vegetable, but nothing else is recognizable

It’s very runny and resembles “slop”. My dog won’t even look at it let alone eat it. There are a couple pieces of a vegetable, but nothing else is recognizable. At roughly 4 dollars per carton, I would expect better quality.

Description made it out to be a stew, but it is a runny gruel with no discernable meat or vegetables. The dog can only lick it up with nothing there to chew. Difficult to get out of package even with a long spoon because of it runny consistency but will also not pour out. Food gets all over your hands. Will not purchase again.

Own a beautifully bred 10yr old AKC CH who has severe allergies that diet has helped her to grow coat everywhere that she has been thinning her hair. Our first case was a gift. I add it as a topping on her dry raw food. The results have been amazing. FWI.. I slightly warm 2 tablespoons in the microwave before adding to dry. I’m very pleased with the results.
