I recently purchased this stainless steel water fountain for my two indoor cats, and I'm thoroughly impressed. Assembly was a breeze thanks to the clear, easy-to-follow instructions that covered both setup and maintenance. Very Quiet

Was very easy to hook up and it's super queit. I wanted to try this because I hate how the water bowls are so slimmy all the time. Hoping this help, time will tell

Was very easy to hook up and it's super queit. I wanted to try this because I hate how the water bowls are so slimmy all the time. Hoping this help, time will tell as I just received it and hooked it up. The dog (Koda) wasn't too impressed with it but did drink from it. Which means. Out cat (Jerry) is a indoor/ outdoor cat and at the moment he is roaming the farm somewhere but I believe he will definitely enjoy the running water!

I had an old plastic cat fountain that would vibrate and drive me crazy with the sound. It also had a reservoir that would empty itself after about two days and I couldn't figure it out. I decided I needed to get a new fountain. I chose this one because it's stainless steel and has the option for a bubbler or the spout. It is quiet with the spout on it and makes a bubbling brook sound if you take the spout off and let the water bubble up. Both are nice and I use both. Two of my four cats have been drinking from it and I expect they all will after a few more days.

Just opened the fountain and put it together. Super easy. Had been eyeing it on line for a while and decided to get it for my two cats as a Christmas gift. They went right up to it. Had been using a plastic water fountain previously but wanted to change to stainless steel as it is cleaner. Plastic had the tendency to get slimy after a few days. Just wish the order came with at least one extra filter. Will put in an order for them soon.

Silent running

I was concerned that my cat would be freaked out by the pump noise, but this fountain makes no sound, not even the water flowing from the spigot. It was very easy

I was concerned that my cat would be freaked out by the pump noise, but this fountain makes no sound, not even the water flowing from the spigot. It was very easy to put together and fill. I lifted my cat to the counter where the fountain sits and played with the running water from the spigot. He started drinking immediately, although not from the spigot as I supposed (he loves drinking from the bathroom faucets), but from the water just below. Because the fountain isn't in sight and he seems to drink mainly at night, I can't tell if he's getting most of his water from it yet (he just decided not to drink from the water bowls he's been using for 4 yrs or any other bowl), but I lift him up to the counter whenever I'm in the bathroom and play with the water to encourage him.

You get used to the sound of it making you want to pee

I have not tried to buy the filters yet and hope that is not an expensive crux. Should have checked on the pricing and availability prior to purchase. I bought 2 and will try to return one since .... it has this trigger for my household. lol! love it!
