The pump IS strong enough -- here's how to get it to work!

At first I thought this was a dud -- I followed the included instructions to a T, but the water wasn't pumping strongly enough out of the top to fill the basin

At first I thought this was a dud -- I followed the included instructions to a T, but the water wasn't pumping strongly enough out of the top to fill the basin. I started fooling around with it and figured out that you have to place the rubber seal piece just on the tip of the pump extender--do NOT press it all the way down toward the bottom. If placed just on the top, it will create enough of a seal with the stainless steel lid for the water to fill the top and bubble along happily. :)

Simple Design

I like how the design is simple and easy to clean. There isnt a lot of places for bacteria to hide. Ive noticed over the years of owning water fountians for pets

I like how the design is simple and easy to clean. There isnt a lot of places for bacteria to hide. Ive noticed over the years of owning water fountians for pets that if you run water from the faucet in and on the pump they will break or stop working. So i just swish the pump in some soapy water and swish to rince in clean water when im cleaning the resovour. I think the pressure from the faucet messes up the pump mechanism. My theory anyway. Just bought a second one of these just to keep on hand in case the first stops working. I have used many fountians over my years of having cats and this one is my favorite so far. Be sure to clean regularly (i do once a week) for the health of your pet.

It just works

This unit has a very subtle water flow which is why I purchased it, so my animals would not be afraid of it & use it. It's a hit with everyone. Easy to assemble

Prone to mold

Worked good for a couple of months. But I have to fully take this apart and scrub it every other day because it grows mold overnight :(

Worked great until it didn't

This fountain was amazing for the 6 months that it worked. One day recently it just... stopped. No noise, no water flow. Not sure what happened.

Silent and - so far - cat approved!

My cat and I have really enjoyed this fountain in the brief time we've had it! As advertised, it's silent which is INCREDIBLE! I had a little bit of a hard time

My cat and I have really enjoyed this fountain in the brief time we've had it! As advertised, it's silent which is INCREDIBLE! I had a little bit of a hard time setting it up because the spout didn't quite seem to make a good enough suction with the removeable bowl to have the water bubble up with enough strength. However, this resolved after I filled the bowl with water because it provides enough weight to create the seal. The real test will be how the motor stands up over time, as my hard water unfortunately was too much for my last cat fountain.
