This light cannot be turned off. If you want the lighting to be less bright, please make sure the LED is not facing the window directly during installation, so the light will appear dimmer.

Clean and well liked

I had another fountain that I ordered from Chewy but it was plastic and living in CA the hard water mineral built up quickly and couldn't be cleaned off. It caused the fountain to not work as well. This one is stainless steel and can be put in the dishwasher. My cats like the spout (though the arch downward is different than their other one and there was a learning curve at first). The only downside (and I know this is personal preference so I didn't knock any stars) is that the light that shows the water level in the window is a bit annoying at night - this is the water dish we keep in the bedroom. I have it turned toward the wall and that mostly solves it. But it's a great fountain and I do love the window. Makes it much easier to fill without overflowing or taking it apart. Highly recommend!

Incredibly simple and he loves it!

Since returning to the office Dakota wouldn’t leave the window to drink his water. So, we put his bowl by the window. No go. Then we put this water fountain there,

Since returning to the office Dakota wouldn’t leave the window to drink his water. So, we put his bowl by the window. No go. Then we put this water fountain there, Voila! It was easy to assemble, the water stays cool, you can always see how much is in it through the window, and we don’t have to worry about our fur baby getting dehydrated anymore. It did take a little bit of coaxing to get him used to it. We used his babies, pretending like they were drinking from it to get him to try. Only took 3 to 4 times and he was hooked. Probably getting another one to put by his food bowl because he won’t drink from his regular bowl anymore haha. And, best of all, how can I go wrong with a lifetime warranty..

Just received this fountain but reviewing based on what I seen so far. Easy set up and very quiet. Nice water capacity for my 2 cats and being able to see the water level is an added bonus. Light in fountain is also a nice touch from previous fountain that did not have one. I am also happy that this fountain has a constant flow of water rather than my previous one that had a sensor for water spout to activate. Very pleased by what I have seen so far.

Sneakers had stopped drinking from his previous bubbler ceramic fountain. The only way he would drink water was to have water running in my bathroom sink. He would jump on me then run to the bathroom sometimes every hour--even at night. I saw this fountain and thought it might work. Sneakers ran to it as soon as I set it up and better yet, he's not running to the bathroom sink. This fountain is easier to clean than my old one and my cat really likes it. I have even recommended this fountain to my daughter. Her cat has been down-graded to a water bowl because of the messes he made in his water bowl. Thanks.
