This fly mask fits snugly around my horse’s face. The material around the ears is super soft and lightweight. With the old fly mask, the horse did not like me putting the mask over his ears as the material was so rigid. Now, he lowers his head so I can easily put on the mask.Velcro works extremely well and the mask stays on securely.

Good fit and perfect functionality. I have oversized Suffolks and the masks fit well. Not sure if they would actually work with a Belgian or Shire. Overall they seem to be good quality and I'd expect them to last at least a season depending upon how often then get pulled off and stomped on.

I use the Cashel masks with ears when the gnats are really bad because they devour my horses ears. This mask is the best for when ears aren’t needed, I use it for

I use the Cashel masks with ears when the gnats are really bad because they devour my horses ears. This mask is the best for when ears aren’t needed, I use it for the rest of the year on my horse with medical problems requiring full time fly masks. It’s rare but the masks with ears occasionally come off when the ears get caught, usually from horses scratching on trees, but this one never comes off unless it’s on one of those fly mask Houdini horses that can get anything off. Even then it’s a trick and most of the time the mask stays on.

This mask is just right for my very petite Shetland pony,and stays on well.

I don't care for the very heavy-duty mesh. It makes it difficult to see their eyes. However, this foal sized mask is one of the few that actually fits her.
