What are the interior dimensions of the crate?

The medium/large crate is suitable for medium breeds. It measures 33 inches (L) x 21 inches (W) x 26 inches (H). To ensure the best fit for your pup, we recommend measuring from the base of the tail to the tip of the nose, then from the top of their head to the floor when sitting. Add 4 inches to each measurement and compare them to the product's dimensions.

I bought this crate for my 25 lb chihuahua mix. He is 8 years old and has been kennel trained in a wire kennel his whole life. I thought this would be a nice little change for him and me, well, no. This crate is SUPER weak, I bought the large because my dog really likes his crate. It is his go to I keep the door open he going in and out and sleeps all day. I only close the door when we’re going to bed or if I’m leaving without him. Well somehow, the very first night that I put it together, the slats just came out and he can just hop right out. They are super flimsy and barely put in there. The slots that the wooden slats are in are way bigger than the slats themselves too, so I’m wondering if they put them together like that because they didn’t have the wider ones or something. I’m not sure. Anyways, the kennel is completely useless. And like I said, my dog is only 25 lbs. even if he did stand up in there and try to put his head through or something, that should not happen.

Unsafe, worthless and cheaply made

Terrible, cheaply made and unsafe! We bought this crate because we were going on vacation and having a house/pet sitter stay. This crate was for our 1 year old

Terrible, cheaply made and unsafe! We bought this crate because we were going on vacation and having a house/pet sitter stay. This crate was for our 1 year old doodle mix, she is not a strong chewer. She is crate trained but has outgrown her puppy crate, we got this thinking she’d be more comfortable in a larger crate. The pet sitter came home to find that she chewed through the bars and escaped. Thankfully he returned before anything bad happened while she was loose in the house. Again, she is not a strong chewer and only about 40 pounds. If she can escape from this crate, any dog can. Unsafe, do not buy. This crate lasted a whopping 2 days of use.

Doubt this will hold up long term. Pieces of wood were chipping just during installation. It looks pretty but thats about it. We hardly use it because I know my dog will be able to tear it up with minimal effort. She is a 2 mo old pup. This would likely be a better fit for an older, more chill pet that doesn't scratch or gnaw.

Not as advertised - Med/L Espresso crate

Measurements are noticeably smaller than advertised, and our dog barely fits inside (certainly not comfortably) due to the unexpected difference. There is a discrepancy

Measurements are noticeably smaller than advertised, and our dog barely fits inside (certainly not comfortably) due to the unexpected difference. There is a discrepancy of over an inch pretty much all around. The door doesn't fit after being constructed - you have to essentially slam it shut because the top corner scrapes against the top. Speaking of construction, cannot recommend. It's very flimsy - even though it's put together tightly, it wobbles with minimal pressure. Actual measurements for Med/L crate: Outer length: Under 36 in Outer width: Under 23 in Outer height: Under 29 in Inner length: 32.5 in (measured from inside with door closed) Inner width: Under 21 in Inner height: 25 and 3/4 in The high-quality orthopedic bed we ordered specifically to fit inside the crate will not fit, adding to the wasted cost. Very disappointed in this experience with Chewy, especially for such an expensive crate. I do not recommend purchasing this product unless you have a truly small dog (chihuahua, maltese, min pin, etc.) and a good back.

Would not recommend

My terrier mix literally chewed a whole big enough to get her 65 pound body through the first night she was put in it at bedtime. So clearly quality is not that

So clearly quality is not that great especially if you have an escape artist/chewer. Strange though cuz she normally only chews bones, yet she chewed a whole through this.

Loved the look of this, but it came to us already used with scratches/marks which we didn’t mind as I’m sure it would get more. But then some of the screw holes
