Leaks and noise

I bought this for my daughter’s cat with kidney failure. He was afraid of the noise the motor makes. My daughter also informed me that it leaks.

I read about the benefits of using a fountain and talked to a friend who has one. Chewy has great prices and offers peace of mind, so I ordered mine last month

I read about the benefits of using a fountain and talked to a friend who has one. Chewy has great prices and offers peace of mind, so I ordered mine last month. I wasn't sure how my senior girl (who prefers drinking out of my glassware) would respond to a fountain, but I think she likes it! She still dips her toes in the water, but I've watched her drink from the bubbler so she does seem to get how to use it. I chose this model for smaller size, quiet running, and ease of cleaning. Top marks for all of these features; it is just as described. My only very minor complaint is that the filter slot is a little poorly executed, but we managed to wedge the filter in without incident. This company offers a universal filter available on Chewy (DOG H20 & CAT H20 Water Fountain Replacement Filter Pads, 3 count) which wasn't obvious in the description at the time of order. I see it is on sale now; if you're on the fence, go for it!

My cat loves this water fountain! She was a little unsure at first, but now she drinks from it all the time. The flow is gentle and super quiet, so it doesn’t scare her or make noise in the room. I like that it keeps the water fresh and clean without much hassle. Plus, it even has a little dental stick built in to help keep her teeth strong—nice bonus! Setup was quick, and the no-spill base is perfect. Definitely happy with this one.

Unfortunately my cats have absolutely no interest in this cool water fountain. One of them seems scared of it and the other just sniffed at it once. Functionally
