Works great
This works really well, is easy to set up and easy to clean. Some problems I noticed were one, the opening is only big enough for one animal at a time. Fortunately my two cats are nice enough to take turns. If your animals are not then you will need one per pet. Secondly, the first slot is always open so you really only get four feedings while you are gone, keep that in mind if you have a trip. We are going away for the weekend so have to get someone to feed our cats the fifth meal before we get home. Thirdly, if you have a problem with ants then that problem is about to get worse. The ants loved having access to all that wet food sitting out, but since I am only using this as a back up feeding method for special trips its not a big deal. Just be aware if you want to use this daily. Overall, its a good product and I'm glad I got it. The cats were fine with it and stopped begging for food because they knew it would be coming automatically.
Works well with dry food for 1-2 days
Our cats usually eat canned food - we were going to be away overnight so this worked well to fill in the gap with dry food for one of them that used to be a stray so always gobbles all food immediately. Nice to have the peace of mind!
Great Product
What a terrific product! It has five wells, four of which are covered and it has four timers so I can feed my cat his usual three times a day. Noise is minimal`so it didn't scare my cat and I love the cooling feature so I can feed wet food for the first meal. Yes!

I now getting better sleep with the help of this feeder. My cat was bothering me multiple times every night to be feed wet food. I now have it set with a small amount in each space and set to go off every hour starting at 130am. It took about a week for him to get used to the sound it makes, which is not loud, be he recognizes it and hasn't been bothering me like he use to. Highly recommend for night feedings if needed.
worked great, broke after 8 months
This was a great feeder. I bought extra ice packs so I could use it every day. I have an indoor cat and the ice packs stayed cold all day indoors. My cat has some digestive issues and only eats small servings of wet food. This helped keep him regularly fed when I was at work and he was even able to put on some weight. However after 8 months of use one of the buttons broke and now the whole thing is inoperable. I will definitely look into getting a new feeder, hopefully a different brand that lasts longer.
Works well - wish it came with extra freezer packs
I got this because I was so tired of my cat waking me up at 6am for his wet food. He eats wet food twice a day and I leave out dry food for him overnight. This is a great way to time his meals out. He was definitely scared of it for the first couple days but he's gotten pretty used to it at this point and no longer wakes me up at 6am! Pros: 1. Freezer packs keep his wet food cold enough from 10pm-6am 2. Battery operated 3. Easy to set up 4. Easy to clean Cons: 1. Wish it came with extra freezer packs, I have to remember to take them out in the morning to put back in the freezer to be used again that night. Would be nice to just interchange them whenever without having to pay extra. 2. Wish it wasn't as deep and the sections were a little wider. My cat is able to eat everything but I assume it must be annoying to have to dig deep in it especially since his old bowl was very shallow (Dr. Catsby whisker relief).
Great for two years
Worked great for two years Nowbit turns continuousy for about four times. Good batteries. Dont know the problem
good for dry food only
We bought two of these for our cats when we were going on vacation. One cat was eating wet food at that time and I figured I could have a neighbor come in every other day to refill and do the litter boxes. They seemed to work ok during that time, but we noticed one started losing time and is now about 5 minutes slower than the other. We also noticed our cat was getting sick the second day; the ice packs were not keeping the food fresh! I feel like if you're going to spend $50.00, there are much better options.
Helps my new rescued cat
My pet behaviorist recommended this for a sweet cat that someone dumped in my neighborhood. He sprays so has to stay in my office and he meows throughout the night. Now he is entertained and gets his meds throughout the night. It’s been a such a help for me.

This works; it doesn't really keep the food cold for 24 hours which is what I really need.
