Cat Person by Weruva Shredded Chicken & Turkey in Broth Grain-Free Wet Cat Food, 2.75-oz cup, case of 24

I have 4 adult cats in my home. One of them tends to be pickier than the others, so any time that I’m introducing a new food, I never know what to expect. For transparency, only 3 of my cats tried this as one is on a strict bladder stone control diet. Each container of food is nicely packaged with an easy tear lid. The plastic container is made of polypropylene, which is recyclable in my area so I was glad to see I was able to limit waste. I chose the chicken and turkey blend as I thought that would be most palatable for my cats. The food itself is described as “shreds in broth”, and that is certainly what you get. It’s very liquidy, which to me, can be a pro and a con. The pro being that your cat is getting hydration, but the con being the meat content is somewhat limited. I appreciated that the food looked natural and did not have any strong odors. My cats had no hesitation to eat this and lick their bowls clean. The reason I knocked two stars off my review is the following: the container size. Cat food cans just keep getting smaller and smaller, from a standard 3 oz, down to 2.8 oz and this one being 2.75 oz. I also felt as though the food could contain more meat and less broth. Lastly, I feel as though the price is too high for what you get. While my cats seemed to enjoy this food, in my opinion, this is not at all a budget option for a household of 3 cats that would be eating this daily. Other than those points, I think this generally a good food. It’s just not one I would have the option to feed 3 of my 4 cats with every day.
