is this litter flushable

This litter is perfectly flushable since its clumps dissolve in water. It is recommended to dispose of cat droppings in the waste bin.

What is the source of the lavender scent?

The litter is made from pea husk and natural ingredients, ensuring it poses no health risk to cats. Catit uses a proprietary blend of food-grade pigment and scent, not essential oils. Their Lavender litter is dyed with a food-grade pigment, giving it its purple color. The scent is synthetic and constitutes less than 1% of the mix, masking the naturally sour smell of pea husk. This scent is noticeable when the air-sealed bag is first opened but dissipates quickly once dispensed into the litter box. The lavender is added in an extremely low amounts (>1%). There is only enough to keep your litter box and room smelling fresh and won’t harm pets at all.

First time cat owner and I was really worried about litter box smells, tracking and dust. We use the lavender scent with a stainless steel litter box and it does not smell with daily scooping. The lavender scent is very faint and more of a natural lavender rather than that terrible synthetic smell that most litters have. For our 6 month old kitten the litter lasts about a month with daily scooping - by that time there isn't a lot of litter left so I don't see how it would last another 30 days so I would say take the "lasts 60 days" with a grain of salt but still a great litter option

My cat is super picky about her litter box, she doesn't mind this litter at all, she hardly tracks any out of the box. The clumping factor is perfect, and the litter doesn't adhere to the litter box. I think a better name for this item would be tinkle sprinkles lol. The longevity is a little off, my cat also urinates quite a bit. I go through a full box in about 2-4 weeks. She doesn't use the box to poop in, so I can't comment on that, but I'm sure it works great. The lavender is mild but pleasant. There is actually 0 dust, which is crazy, finally a company that does what it says.

I’m a daily scooper, but the box still got stinky after a few weeks when I was using crystal litter. I briefly tried pine pellets but didn’t like how they turned to sawdust. And it also got stinky after a short time. I figured I would give this a try, and almost didn’t order because I saw that this litter is scented. I’m so glad I purchased it! The lavender scent is pretty mild, and the letter is wonderful. It clumps nicely and there is absolutely no litter box odor at about three weeks in so far. Tracking is very minimal, and there is zero dust. I still wish this was unscented, but it’s pretty amazing litter. I may try the vanilla scent next time.

I have been searching high and low for a litter that does not track very much. And this is amazing! After spending so much money on letters, Ithink I found one that is going to work perfect. I did also buy an expensive cat litter pan, basic cat litter pan not automatic it waslike $100 but it’s stainless steel and it has a power vent in the top to help with odors. This letter is perfect for that pan.

Excellent Litter-lavender scent not bad

I almost didn’t purchase this litter because it said it was lavender scented. I hate lavender scent! It makes me mad that everything purple is lavender, I think

I almost didn’t purchase this litter because it said it was lavender scented. I hate lavender scent! It makes me mad that everything purple is lavender, I think it should be lilac but I digress. I am so glad I gave this litter a try. I have a cat and a kitten. They both use it and it works great! The scent is pleasant and I would say smells nothing like lavender to me. It clumps nicely, comes out great. I don’t choke on dust when I’m scooping so I find that I scoop way more frequently. I think the scent control could be a little better but as long as I take what I scooped outside right away it works well. No dust at all! Very pleased! Will never use traditional clay ever again!
