This says flushable but is it safe for a septic system?

This cat litter is flushable on standard flush toilets (1.6 gpf) through residential, non-septic plumbing systems designed and maintained in accordance with plumbing codes. It is not recommended to flush this litter in a septic tank because it would require you to have to clean the tank too frequently.

Reminiscent of coffee grounds

I like that it’s light weight and although it’s supposed to be scented I couldn’t really tell that it was so it didn’t work well with masking odors of the cat urine

I like that it’s light weight and although it’s supposed to be scented I couldn’t really tell that it was so it didn’t work well with masking odors of the cat urine or feces. Also, it’s supposed to be clumping cat light but when the cats urinate it falls apart like dampened sand when scooping it out of the litter box. It does seem to be doing well not so far as being flushable and not causing any backups in the toilet.

It is disgusting!

It crumbles into tiny pieces the size of marbles and some fall through the scoop. It went all over the floor and was difficult to clean up. It is the worst litter

Great stuff

Although yana has been potty trained already, she gets to start all over and do it again since I have to do Gia and get her trained, thank goodness for flushable

Hated it

This clumping litter is awful. We ordered it for a kitten we had to quarantine in our bathroom so it was a great idea but it doesn't clump good at all. The poop

This clumping litter is awful. We ordered it for a kitten we had to quarantine in our bathroom so it was a great idea but it doesn't clump good at all. The poop was easy to scoop but the pee didn't clump good at all, definitely not worth it
