Hands free strap.

It's a great concept, with pretty good execution. I think the one thing that would make it better is another strap that would fasten around the person's abdomen

I think the one thing that would make it better is another strap that would fasten around the person's abdomen to keep the leash from pulling up and away from the body, but that's only an idea. It could be better the way it is, but no one will know unless it's tried.

Hands free + reflective leash

This is great! One thing to be aware of - I had not noticed if there was a note on the product description page about - for dogs 50 pounds or less - I saw that

This is great! One thing to be aware of - I had not noticed if there was a note on the product description page about - for dogs 50 pounds or less - I saw that in the instructions when the product arrived - my dog is 67 pounds, but he is older and pretty laid back, so I decided it would be ok. But for someone with a dog over 50 pounds that tends to run after things, the cross body shoulder strap would not be a good choice, you could get dragged by your dog since you can’t just drop the leash. I appreciate having my hands free when picking up after my dog. I used to pinch the leash handle between my knees in that situation. It’s also nice to be able to put my hands in my pockets on a cold morning if I forgot my gloves.

Peace of mind!

I have a tripod American foxhound that is obsessed with going for run/walks!! I use a retractable leash which I no are not very safe so I use this one too and attach

I have a tripod American foxhound that is obsessed with going for run/walks!! I use a retractable leash which I no are not very safe so I use this one too and attach it to his harness and the one I hold in my hand is attached to his collar. This way if either of them breaks or I drop the leash, I still have him connected to my body. He has absolutely no recall so I was always worried when we went for walks and my busy neighborhood. So I searched for this and found this and I love it. It took a while to get delivered for some reason and I wish it was a little wider leash part, but since it's the backup leash I'm fine with it. Definitely would recommend this to others

Nice small size, well made

This is to walk my cat and the weight in my hand is perfect while the lead seems sturdy and unspools smoothly. It is exactly what it claims to be.

It’s Amazing!

I love this leash! My dog became a service animal shortly before purchasing this item. I really needed something that gave me a lot of control but was hands free

I can lock it to my desired length or leave it unlocked for walks. Plus it’s cheaper than other hands free leashes out there. Love this item!

Plastic connector broke

My dog saw a cat and ran after it, which snapped the plastic connector and she ran off. Good idea, but needs better hardware.

Quality, quality, quality

I love this leash. It is very sturdy and the ribbon is strong. No matter how many circles my dog makes around me the ribbon always feeds back into the leash perfectly

I love this leash. It is very sturdy and the ribbon is strong. No matter how many circles my dog makes around me the ribbon always feeds back into the leash perfectly. The locking mechanism is idiot-proof and that is great for me, who has struggled with the mechanisms on my last 2 leashes. The side of the leash box is the perfect size for a round velcro leash light as well. And, I love the hands free for those times when I am juggling a grocery bag, a coffee, and a bag full of poop. I tried dedicated hands free leashes before but my dog is small and they are not long enough to give him some extra leash. I highly recommend this leash!

The strap to go hands free

Leash works great and is very smooth. The strap is good too if you have other stuff you have to hold and can’t hold the leash at the same time.
