This grit is nice and clean. It’s not dusty at all and I haven’t seen anything in it other than grit. I noticed that even though it’s all more or less the same

This grit is nice and clean. It’s not dusty at all and I haven’t seen anything in it other than grit. I noticed that even though it’s all more or less the same size, there is enough variation so that chickens can select what they like. When I switched my chicks from this company’s smaller size grit, I did notice they didn’t immediately love it. They were interested in it, but I think they had to adjust to the idea of these larger pieces. Now they are going through it. They are 10 week old crested cream legbars, and I went up to the 2 size last week, but I think I could have sized up sooner. The size 1 was probably small for them by the age of six or seven weeks, but these are my first chickens and I’m still learning and being cautious. Anyway, it’s a good product for a good price, and I will continue to buy.

We use this for our garden railroad for the roadbed.

Red granite track ballast for outdoor layout

This is a great size but it's reddish color instead of great. Size is great for G Scale track on an outdoor railroad. Glues well with landscape rock glue or diluted

This is a great size but it's reddish color instead of great. Size is great for G Scale track on an outdoor railroad. Glues well with landscape rock glue or diluted Titebond III for a more permanent application. Some railroad used red granite and this would work.
