Thanks so much for sending the oyster shells IN a bucket! I just popped the top off and sat the entire bucket in the hen house. The girls are just starting to lay eggs, so hopefully this will help them make some healthy shells. Because I also have roosters and ducks, I have them all on the same all flock feed, so the oyster shells are being offered freely.

What I ordered

It was exactly what I ordered. Unfortunately, my hens did not take to it. It's been a couple weeks and my 7 hens have only eaten about 1 cup of it. Not sure why

Too big

The pieces were too large and my chickens wouldn’t eat it.

My girls really like this.

This bucket lasts a long time but my ladies do like it. The eggs are nice, with a strong shell. The bucket makes it easy to dispense. I just clip the bucket handle

Handy Container

The plastic lidded container makes it easy to leave in the coop without the chickens destroying it. Very handy!

So easy to add to their food

I'm only giving it 4-stars because the geese & ducks really avoided eating the supplement at first, even though I mixed it in with their food. It took them a couple

I'm only giving it 4-stars because the geese & ducks really avoided eating the supplement at first, even though I mixed it in with their food. It took them a couple of weeks before they actually ate it. A lot of the birds are very pregnant and we're expecting to see lots of new little ones very soon. Spring has definitely sprung!
