I have a 16 1/2 year old Coton de Tulear. She has arthritis and, for the past several years, she doesn't like treats or toys. I think that's because she has only three teeth. When I first gave her a Chew + Heal Senior 12 in 1 Advanced Multivitamin Chew, she took it from me eagerly. I gave her half of a chew to start. She ate it with gusto and, in her doggy way, indicated that she wanted more. She now gets half a treat after her walks and definitely loves them. She had no problem eating the chew, despite her lack of teeth. I like them because they are filled with natural ingredients that are said to enhance a wide range of ailments that plague senior dogs including digestion, joint health, and anxiety. I've only been giving my pup the treats for a couple of weeks so can't verify the health benefits as of yet. But she loves them, eagerly awaits receiving one after her walk and seems very happy. The fact that they are good for her makes me happy too.
