These balls can serve as a moderate chew toy, but they’re not designed for aggressive chewers.

Before my dog discovered glow-in-the-dark balls, he was thrilled to get a giant bag of tennis balls every year for Christmas. The dozens of fuzzy balls decaying in my yard are testament to the superiority of these Chew King treasures! When I open his crate after returning from work, Cowboy issues the most dismissive kiss before running to retrieve his ball for ninety minutes of fetch. Then an hour before bedtime, he brings his ball to me so I can activate the glow under a lamp for round two! What a great price, too -- about half what the competing brand charges. The Chew King balls are a little less squishy than the Chuckit ones, but that seems advantageous to me, as Cowboy likes to chew the balls between chases. Also, these are much easier to keep clean than fuzzy tennis balls. Just rinse them in the sink and dry them with a paper towel and they're like brand new.

Easily destroyed by power-chewing pup

My dogs love a good ball. But this ball is way too easily destroyed. Lasted about 30 seconds. Too bad because the glow is fun.
