Can the detangling spray be used on dry hair, or is it intended only for "apres bath"?

This spray can be used on your dog's wet or dry coat. Spray dog from back of ears to tail, carefully avoiding eyes. Massage into coat and gently brush through for best results. Repeat as necessary.
