Dogs eat readily

I believe our six dogs were fine about eating the food, but I somehow missed the fact that this particular food was a pate. Unfortunately, pate-type foods are difficult

I believe our six dogs were fine about eating the food, but I somehow missed the fact that this particular food was a pate. Unfortunately, pate-type foods are difficult to get out of the cans without leaving chunks, and it's also difficult to divide it evenly between six different bowls for the dogs. It seems to be a nutritious food from the content, and it is said to be USA made, but it is just the consistency that is more difficult for us.

We’vew had this soup in our Autoship for a few times but the last order was a total disappointment. Very single jar was dented, inside the packaging, with dents on the top , bottom and sides, as if they’d been kicked and then packaged. Something in the formula has also changed; our dog not longer wants to eat it, even though she used to love it.

I haven’t given this to our 130lb boy much yet, but he seems to like it. I haven’t noticed any issues with his bowel movements or anything, which is a plus. We do not use this as his main food though, it’s a nice topper to give him more motivation to eat in general (he’s very picky). I don’t like that it is grain free as I keep my pup on a grain-inclusive diet, but it’s a good option for those who have pups with grain allergies. Ingredients seem good and it’s mushy enough that I’d imagine if your dog has teeth issues, this would be easy to eat.

My two German shepherds are picky eaters. We have tried multiple wet foods and they turn their nose up at most. When I opened the first can of Chicken Soup for the Soul Chicken,Turkey & Salmon recipe, both of them stood in front of their bowls waiting for me to give them their bowl. They smelled the mixture, especially the salmon, and couldn't wait. Their bowls were empty within 5 minutes and they were still licking the sides trying to savor every smudge of food. It has been two weeks now and they have not tired of eating this food. I love that I don't have to coax them to their meal, and that they are getting a nutritious meal every time!

My little shih tzu, Cocoa, is a very picky eater. He has perfected a twist of his upper lip and a disgusted expression when I offer him a new food. But he actually likes this food! He briefly sniffed at it and then gobbled it up. He has happily eaten it for a week of dinners in a row. His brother dog, who isn’t at all picky, also thinks this is good stuff. It looks like it is a healthy mix of meat, fish and veggies, so I’m happy to feed it to both of them.

My Golden Retriever is not a picky eater but we use canned food as a topper to his kibble to hide pills and because he enjoys the wet food more than the dry. This foods contains more fiber and a little less fat than his usual canned food which is good. This food smells more natural than other canned foods we have tried. My only complaint is that imported ingredients are used without an explanation as to what they are.

I feel like I’m doing something healthy for my dog. Good nutrition and apparently good taste! I would definitely recommend this to other pet parents.
