My dog has a chicken allergy. Wanted to get her lamb, but reading the label, its says it also contains chicken. Companies should have to declare all varieties of meat on the FRONT! I shouldn't have to label-read to discern if a food titled "lamb" also contains chicken.

I received this product a few weeks ago and wanted to wait a bit before reviewing so I could give a fair evaluation. My guys (2 Shelties) are always happy around mealtime. They both eat dry kibble and the canned Chicken Soup for the Soul has been used as an additive to their diets. They immediately liked this food. I liked the ingredients in the Whitefish and Salmon recipe. Appreciated the Kcalorie information as well. This food has a good consistency and a pleasant odor (no fishy smell). Totally agreed with both my guys and did not affect their bowel movements in the least. Food is made in the USA. I being used to kibble prices do find it to be pricey if I had to give it as a total diet for two dogs) as 1 can is recommended to feed a 15 lb. dog per day, but as an additive I will consider purchasing again.

My 12 year old labradoodle has been a pure (quality) dry food pup her entire life. Decided to treat her a bit in her old age as she's slowing down. She LOVES this stuff as a typical self regulated water she bugs us in the evenings for it and we give 1/3-1/4 can once a day. It legitimately has brought pep back into her step as well, as a dog already on glucosamine. She's a huge fan and we're going to keep feeding to her.

My dog LOVES this food! I have a high-energy, young German Shepherd/Retriever mix who needs plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. I freeze a portion of the Chicken Soup for the Soul Classic Whitefish & Salmon Recipe Pâté in a Kong—he goes bananas for it! I’m very picky about what I feed him and have done tons of research. This food is high quality: his coat is shiny, his teeth are clean, no bad gas, and none of the side effects I’ve seen with lower-quality options. Highly recommend!

Both large and small pups were treated to the pate as a topper for their regular kibble, and it was immediately clear that a meal of just Chicken Soup for the Soul would suit them just fine!
