What is the difference between ‘Adult’ and ‘Mature’ formulations?

Your older, mature dog will need a good, well-balanced diet that is lower in calories, higher in fiber and has adequate protein and fat. For some senior dogs, you can continue to feed their regular food, but in a smaller quantity. Specially formulated senior (mature) diets are lower in calories and help to create a feeling of fullness.

Bought this (with couple other types of wet food) for my senior rescued spaniel with few teeth, a heart murmur and an enlarged heart. I had trouble getting firm

Bought this (with couple other types of wet food) for my senior rescued spaniel with few teeth, a heart murmur and an enlarged heart. I had trouble getting firm poops using any wet food until I add a tablespoon of coconut flour and a bit of hot water to the lot. Her poops are consistently firmer and I combine a couple of wet foods for a dash of variety.

I’ve been shopping around for different foods for my 7 year old GSD. The quality of this food is amazing for the price. The ingredients list is fantastic and my girl eats all of it. I’m only paying a few dollars more per case than her previous food for this, and it’s worth every cent especially since these cans are 13oz and the previous brand was 12.5oz. Highly recommend.

DOGS LIKE IT

Love the ingredients and the dogs seem to like it. I am feeding two older 13&15 year old fussy pugs. Another plus, does not seem to give them gas.

Dented Cans

The last couple of autoship shipments had several badly dented Cans, particularly the last one. In the first shipment with dented cans, the food was completely black

The last couple of autoship shipments had several badly dented Cans, particularly the last one. In the first shipment with dented cans, the food was completely black when I opened it. I disposed of a case of the next shipment of badly dented cans because the can I opened was darker in color than normally. Chewy immediately replaced the bad cans. If you receive dented cans of wet dog food, please check the contents carefully.

My very picky 18 Y/O dog likes it

It's made by and sourced from the US. Excellent ingredients, no meals or by products. The pate texture is perfect for my dog. I went through many different cases

It's made by and sourced from the US. Excellent ingredients, no meals or by products. The pate texture is perfect for my dog. I went through many different cases of dog food, including prescription diets that he would not eat. I was sadly convinced he had reached the end of his life, as he has a significant heart murmur and some liver and kidney issues. He had gotten quite thin. Then I started researching the the ingredients in this dog food and decided I had nothing to loose by trying it. He has really perked up and is starting to put on some weight. He hasn't had any bowel issues and is not vomiting with this food, which has been chronic all of his life. I wish I had found this food years ago. Maybe he'll reach his 19th birthday in May.
