Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

- Hold one of the paws in your hand.
- Coil your wrist toward your forearm.
- Throw light a flying disc giving the squirrel a good spin. The more spin the better he flies. Throw the flying squirrel out in front of your dog and watch the pursuit.
To make the feel glow: Expose the feet to a bright light source for two to ten minutes (the longer the exposure the longer the afterglow). The afterglow of the feet is of course more visible in a darker environment, so make sure that the potential flight path is clear of any obstacles or hazards.

Didn’t make the cut
By Squirrell on Jan 17, 2021
We have a very active female English Bulldog. She will be one year old on the 18th of this month. She really loved playing with this toy. The reason why I’m giving it a 2 star, is that she went thru it in 2 days. By day 3, it was just the material. She had already removed the corners and the structure that enabled it to fly. I realize that not all dogs are created equal, so for my dog this toy didn’t last 3 days.

Tore within first week of play
By KarlW on Jan 5, 2021
Our mini Aussie loves the Chuckit flying squirrel. The first one we bought worked well and wore out after about four months of play. So we bought another one, but the stitching is too flimsy and within the first week of play it has already torn. Disappointing!

My pup loves it
By Rylie on Jan 7, 2021
We love our flying squirrel toy! It is lightweight but more durable than it looks. Rylie loves to shake it violently to "kill" it after catching. I've purchased it twice because she did damage the first one badly, but that was after a full year of regular, rough-and-tumble play.

It's a YES from me, dawg.
By bmt223 on Dec 31, 2020
Our pup loves this toy! He is an avid ball chaser, so I wasn't sure if this would throw his game off with a frisbee type toy. What I like most about this toy, and I think the pup would agree, is that it doesn't sit flat on the ground, so it's easy for him to pick it up off the ground rather than getting a mouth full of grass trying to retrieve it.

Great toy for fetch
By JGrimmett on Jan 17, 2021
I bought this for my Shepherd. He wasn't overly keen on it at first, but once he caught it the first time he became obsessed. It has held up for a couple weeks now. I am really becoming a fan of the Chuckit brand. I have rough doggos but this brand holds up.

My dog adores this toy
By Wren on Jan 9, 2021
My dog Osa absolutely loves her "Bisby" as we call it. She starts jumping for joy the second we get outside and she sees I have Bisby with me. It's easy to throw and hangs in the air nicely, for her to jump up and catch. And I absolutely love having a dog that can jump like that!!

Tough as nails
By Heatman on Jan 12, 2021
Our German Shepherd destroys all toys. But this one is very durable. He always shakes it very roughly after retrieving it, but no holes yet after a month of play. I like this because it flys easily and is soft, so we can play with it inside. Great design!

For the dog who is scared of frisbees
By Mirandajer on Dec 12, 2020
Our pup loves playing fetch with balls but we wanted to mix it up and try this, we tried to frisbee train her but she’s only 34 lbs and gets a bit scared of the hard plastic. This was the perfect substitute and she loves running with this in her mouth. The only problem, if you leave it alone with her she’ll start to chew it up. No problem we’ll grab a new one. Would definitely recommend!

Good if you have the space
By pastry on Dec 29, 2020
This toy definitely flies and floats very well— sometimes too well! We live in NYC so space is usually limited. With most other toys I have more control over how far they go when I throw them, but this guy really goes and goes so we’ve had to stop using it unless we’re really somewhere spacious.

Fun to chase
By Linb on Dec 18, 2020
My rescue dog is not a fetcher. I've tried balls, I've tried soft toys. He just looks at them and ignores them. Not with this one, though! He loves chasing it, snatching it up, and running with it. He hasn't learned to bring it back to me yet but we're both having fun. I can't make claims on durability but so far it's a hit.
