does this glow?
Answer by KimberlyJan 08, 2022
Yes if it’s left in the sun, or you can “charge” with a flash light to make it glow by holding the flashlight up to the lighter color area.

Answer by ChewyNov 28, 2017
The small's dimensions are 5.5 x 5.5 x 5.5 inches and the large, 7.8 x 7.8 x 7.8 inches.

Is this different from the orange/blue ball?
Answer by ChewyDec 21, 2019
The difference between this and the Chuckit! Kick Fetch Ball is that this one glows in the dark.

Is this ball durable. I've bought my dog durable balls and he is able to tear thru them all
Answer by ChewyDec 06, 2021
This ball is made of rubber, EVA foam and polyester for a puncture resistant ball and will not deflate. Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

Dogs like tearing it apart

I like these balls they are soft enough that my boxer mix can actually bite into it. But that means my Pitbull and Rottweiler tear it apart easily. I have had a few of these I still like them and will continue to buy them.

Doesn't last

Says its for large dogs, but my 45 lb puppy made short work of this one. Lasted all of a week. Lot of money for a fetch toy that doesn't hold up to games of fetch. Had the cover ripped in a matter of days. Chunks of rubber off by the end of the week.

So far so good

My dog loves to play with the ball in the backyard, chasing it, catching it! We can even play at night while it was too hot to play in the yard during the daytime! Just have to make sure to put the ball under bright light for sometime so that it will glow in the dark!

Glows in the dark for 1 day if you leave it outside...

Great sized ball if you want a ball to throw but also kick for your dog.... but thought it would be glow in the dark for more than one night.... don't know if it depends on if you leave it outside 24/7....

Excellent ball for big dogs

My 2 dogs love this ball! I like that I can kick it into the yard and not have to touch a dirty slobbery ball. It's easy for them to grip and as long as I don't leave it around to be chewed on it's quite durable and it floats!

don't waste your money

I have a German Shepherd. She loves to play ball and this style of ball is her favorite. The regular one that we get her is currently unavailable, so we opted for this one since it was the same style. She destroyed it completely in 2 days. After just a couple of grabs all the white areas of the ball were cracked. I won't purchase it again.

Fun, Fun, Fun

My Griff loves this ball. He has the orange one also that he enjoys. I do not let him play with them alone for fear of chewing it. Because we play catch together he doesn’t have an opportunity to chew on it. With that said, I’m not making claim to it’s durability.

Do not buy if you have a strong chewer.

I bought two of these for my 7 month old pup. We have always had great experience with chuckit balls. They both had holes in them within an hour and I had to throw them away.

Perfect for a big pup

My 100+ lbs black lab LOVES this ball. It’s easy to throw or kick and has grooves for him to catch and carry it with me worrying he’s going to swallow it.

Good, but...

My dog absolutely loves these toys and we have a blast playing fetch with them, but the "glow" version doesn't hold up anywhere near as long as the orange/blue version for us. We only play fetch with these, no chewing allowed, but even just my dog squeezing this one while he brings it back pops the seams and tears the rubber. If your dog has strong grip, spend the extra money and get the other one!
