I have the original chuck it thrower,and if I'm not mistaken they had two different sizes and were tennis ball types, I need the larger size ball, think it's about 3-1/2" maybe 4" ,did they change over to the rubber ball? Is it more durable than the tennis ball types?

The large ball has a diameter of 3 inches, the X-large has a diameter of 3.5 inches, and the XX-large has a diameter of 4 inches.

My 80 lb. aggressive chewer loves these balls for catching and chewing. He will also just sit or lie down for what seems like an hour just holding the ball in his mouth. If I took away every other toy he wouldn’t care as long as he had his ball. I had the large size but they disappeared because he hid them. He doesn’t do that with the xtra large size. Easier on the budget though more expensive initially.

They are great for fetching. I just wish they were tougher.

My dogs love these balls but they just don't hold up to being chewed. My boys tend to chew on them while bringing them back and after about 10 throws they start

Our pup is a super chewer and it can be difficult finding toys that last for her. I like that these don’t have the fleece covering, she tore that apart on the other balls we bought her. These ones have withstood her constant chewing and are a great size for our 30 lb pup! Definitely recommend and only had to replace when they got lost. Great price and value
