I bought this toy for the water/lake for our large dog to retrieve. Unfortunately, our dog had other ideas. He grabbed it as soon as he saw it, so for now it is an "Inside" toy which I would not recommend as it is a bit larger and "tumbles" around as it was named for. But he loves it and it is holding up well. And from what I can tell there is NO squeaker which gets an automatic 4 star review lol
