Is this "cuttable"? My door opens flush to the wall as you exit into the garage so the overhang on that side would only need to be a couple of inches.

What is the measurement from the bottom of the guard to the hole for the door knob?

The Original CLAWGUARD Door Shield was designed to fit standard door construction. The door knob hole measures 35 1/4 inches from the bottom of the door shield and 9 inches from each side of the door shield. CLAWGUARD Original Door Shields can be cut and customized with household scissors to create the perfect fit for your needs.

Gets the job done to protect the doorframe

My cat tries to use the doorframe to a room in our basement as a scratch post, so I thought this product could work to deter that, it works great with preventing

My cat tries to use the doorframe to a room in our basement as a scratch post, so I thought this product could work to deter that, it works great with preventing further damage to the area he scratches. I wish I had looked into this sooner! The one flaw is that it’s very bulky so it can be a pain to get around, but at least my doorframe is saved.

This has many uses than just a door scratching shield. My kittens don’t scratch the door but they do dash out. This shield hanging past the door stops them from

This has many uses than just a door scratching shield. My kittens don’t scratch the door but they do dash out. This shield hanging past the door stops them from getting out or slows them down enough I can stop them. It has two different texture sides, one is smooth & the other has texture so you can hear if they are scratching it. You can use it also on walls, bird cages, gates & shelters. It comes with double sided sticky tape so you can secure it in place. The plastic is sturdy but can be bent if needed.

My dog tore it off the door and ripped a 9 inch slice right through the plastic and then shredded the door frame anyway. It’s not very thick at all and can easily

I wish I would have done this sooner. Now we have a lot of repair to do but the dog that scratches doesn’t even try anymore! She would just get excited when we came

With a little creativity, it can be rigged to run horizontally, covering the full width at the bottom of the door, which is ideal for small dogs.
