I decided to try adding algae wafers to my food options, this stuff is still new but at this point in time, my fish don’t care for them but will pick on them overnight. Worth a try, but my plecos and cories prefer the shrimp pellets.
On a whim I tried these. As soon as I dropped 1 to try my large Pleco came out of hiding and went straight for the food. This was the fastest and strongest reaction he's ever given me to food. After months using this fish food he's still quick to come eat. He's never left any food behind. I can drop 4 to 5 at a time and it doesn't cloud the water, it doesn't turn into a blobby mess and float around the tank. Really happy about these tablets!
Expands. Sinks. turns into blob of stuff that resembles egg drop soup and none of my fish or bottom feeders will touch it. Caused ridiculous mess in my 5gal tank. Maybe if you had larger fish in a much larger tank then it would make sense but too much of a mess for me;
Came when they said it was going to come it was backordered because I had to get it from Florida awesome will be buying more
Love their products and so do the aquatic pets. This will do nicely for my invertebrates and bristlenose plecos.
My bristle nose pleco really love this wafers. The catfish will munch on them too. I give them 2 a day.
Sunk quickly took over an hour to dissolve all the fish in my tank enjoy it.
