If placed in a 200 micron bag and used in a box power filter, would it still work effectively?
Answer by Chewy • Apr 23, 2021
The filter media can be placed in the bag inside a box power filter if there is enough room to do so. However, if components from the filter need to be removed, it may affect the filtration ability of the unit.

Does this work for saltwater tanks?
Answer by Chewy • Feb 14, 2021
This is suitable for freshwater and saltwater aquariums.

is it safe to use with crayfish
Answer by Chewy • Jan 13, 2021
This product is ideal for tanks with heavy bioload, turtles, goldfish and other messy livestock. It is suitable for tanks with elevated phosphate and nitrate levels. Typically this means tanks that aren't cleaned/water changed as often or have been neglected for a while.

what do you mean by RECHARGE up to 4 times?
Answer by Chewy • Jan 07, 2022
This can be regenerated/re-used up to 6 times. To do so, soak Total Nitrate in a concentrated brine solution (4 cups non-iodized salt per gallon for each cup or 250 milliliters of resin) or a 1:4 bleach:water mix for a minimum of 8 hours. Once regenerated, rinse thoroughly in dechlorinated tap or RO/DI water prior to resuming use.
