how do you regenerate the media?

To regenerate, soak Total Reef in a concentrated brine solution (4 cups non-iodized salt per gallon for each cup or 250 millilitres of resin) or a 1:4 bleach:water mix for a minimum of 8 hours. Once regenerated, rinse thoroughly in dechlorinated tap or RO/DI water prior to resuming use. Note: recharging using the brine solution will not change color of resin.
