runs way too big
Beautiful collar but i went with the size my pup always wears and it is extremely large even when tightened all the way. For reference she usually wears a medium completely fine, so this should’ve definitely fit.
Turned my white dog's neck black
I wasn't thrilled that this collar doesn't have a buckle but I tried it anyway. After a couple of days I noticed that Clover's fur underneath the collar had turned gray/black. I took the collar off her and ran it through the washer while I gave her a bath (the black didn't all wash out but it was better) and put it back on once they were both dry. Within a day her fur had turned black again.
Big dog martingale
They are just what our big babies needed! They are colorful & comfortable!
Disproportionate size is ridiculous
I wish I had read the reviews for this because everyone said the same thing. 1-1/2" wide on a collar for a medium size dog is ridiculous & clumsy looking & uncomfortable. And the matching leash is only 1" wide which looks even more ridiculous. Very disappointing.
Didn't work for me.
I ordered this collar after 2 others and finding a medium just wasn't working for my dog. Ordered this in a large but it is really large! It's a really pretty, well made collar although I just don't quite understand the additional material. Will be donating.
Over sized
I bought this in a medium thinking I can adjust it down to fit a smaller puppy until she grows but that was not the case. This collar seemed more like a large. It was extra wide and I could have fit it over a large size dogs neck.
Non-functional due to band size
The smallest size of this very thick banded collar renders the martingale feature inoperable. Not a very well thought out design and it will not work for my dog. Disappointing because the pattern is cute.
Dont order
This is a non useable item. The only way to put this on your dog is over the head, then try to adjust the fit, impossible.
Not good! Would not buy
Not even close to a martingale collar. I like the pattern. She cant wear it the way it hangs!
Beautiful but fragile
The collar looked beautiful, but it didn't last a month. When my dog ran at the end of her tie-off, one of the metal fasteners on the collar broke off and the collar came off her neck. The metal is bent.
