When sized correctly, a muzzle will still allow your dog to breathe freely and pant. This muzzle is designed to fit a dog with a Snout Circumference of 14 inches and Snout Length of 3 inches.
is this muzzle bite proof

This muzzle will stop a dog from being able to bite, but will not stand up to chewing or biting when not attached to the dog.

Works great. Fits wonderful.

I have Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. He isn't letting me look at his foot. Needed a muscle. This ensures me he can't bit me . While changing his why he keeps lifting that foot all the time. Like he has an owie. Maybe a sticker. I would highly recommend this if you have a dog that might bite you.

I love this

I was Leary ordering another muzzle but it specifically said for Pitbulls so I tried it. It fits perfect. I can see how she would be able to chew her way out of it but they should not be left unattended with it on so that isn’t an issue

not a good fit

Muzzles need to ve large enough for dogs to be able to pant in. This is snug around the snoot. Not very well thought out by the creators of this product

low quality

The buckles on this item are super flimsy and it’s not large enough for dog to still be able to comfortably pant, yawn, etc. Any movement and it will break.

short lifespan

I got this for my 80 pound dog, and he stretched it out the first time he wore it while barking at my neighbor dog. I don’t think it would fully prevent him from biting another dog, but it wouldn’t let him get a full bite still. Thankfully this is more precautionary than necessary, but I would not recommend this muzzle due to how easily misshapen it became.

Muzzle for Sir Chance

Well made and comfy looking. Dog refuses to wear it tho even with treats for cooperation. if im not ocnstantly giving him treats he claws at his face until i remove it, Im afraid if he continues to fight with it that he will break it or pull it off. Not reccomended for dogs who arent trained to wear muzzles. Im sure once we work with him a bit more he will be fine with it.

godsend for reactive pibble

Lots of loose dogs in the neighborhood = me having to pick up my 50# reactive girl. All hours of day/all types of dogs/all the various paths I’ve tried - the other muzzles we’ve tried were either too hard on her skin, or she was between sizes or they were too big and menacing looking. This muzzle is perfect and allows her to pant- super important- I am not able to give her treats through it, but that’s a minimal flaw…as at least now she can have the long walks she loves.

Secure but rough

They definitely don't come off so they keep my dogs safe from each other however I find it took some of my dogs skin off where the little metal circle clasps are. They must be rough on the inside so I'll be altering them myself.
