Wrong Picture for Tan Muzzle

Our groomer requested a strap that had holes in the buckle verses the plastic clip. The online photo of the tan muzzle shows the holes, and the actual muzzle is like the black one and has a buckle. I have the same muzzle in black so I know it's a good muzzle. It's just very difficult to get on my dog when he is moving around at the groomers. Once it is on it's good.

Works well for us

My anxious rescue is scared of "ouchies" at the vet and doesn't take well to handling. I bought this and muzzle train her (she's a medium sized Lab, wears a 5), and after fitting and adjusting it to her, and using the forehead strap, it gives a very secure and comfortable fit. We have also had a chance to try other muzzles provided by the vet. Compared to the super snug fabric muzzles, this allows much more movement for panting, licking, etc, and more ventilation and access for treats than the molded plastic with perforation holes. But she still struggles to take treats in this muzzle (I often have to push the chin up or feed through the nose hole so she can grab or lick the food), so I docked a star for that. If you're using squeezable treats, it's not hard to get the tube in and feed that way, but her diet doesn't include any of those unfortunately. She doesn't love being in it long-term, and the few times she's ran while wearing it I think the bouncing bothered her. But since the main purpose is for vet visits, these aren't dealbreakers.

my foxhound barks like a maniac and it’s genuinely so embarrassing. this muzzle has SAVED ME!! i bought a size 4 and it fits perfectly. the muzzle let’s him do everything but bark!! i can take him more places and go on longer quiet walks! i 100% recommend.

Great Muzzle, but wrong size

This seems to be a great muzzle, but using the measurement recommendations on the web site, I ended up buying one that was too big. I have a Klee Kai that is about the size of a medium shepherd, the size 4 was way too big for her. Finally a Size 2 fit perfectly. If your dog needs a muzzle, this is a great one to get.

Works for short-term use

We're getting to know a food-reactive, high prey-drive dog and we wanted all introductions between him and our cats to be safe. This does not have enough pant room for long durations or high temps, but works for us in calm, indoor settings while we teach him manners around the cats. The collar loop is necessary for us, so very glad it's included!

I have 3 dogs, and ordered a size 6 each. It's nice and sturdy. Only one muzzle was able to fit out of the three. Felt like Cinderella with her glass slipper lol. Is there a way I can exchange two of the muzzles for a smaller size?

I bought this for my XX Pitbull who doesn't like being examined by my Vet. I got the biggest muzzle but it wasn't big enough for the width of her head. Maybe it would fit a average size Pit but not mine.

Perfect muzzle!

Allows the dog to receive and eat treats as well as breathe. Much better than the kind that just holds the whole snout and mouth shut and increases their stress.

I wouldn’t order this again

Often, when you’re looking for a muzzle you may be in a desperate situation. I wouldn’t waste time ordering this one for pitbull style faces. Even in an attempt to reshape, this muzzle doesn’t fit right and is uncomfortable/the straps are sharp in some places. I’d rather risk it then have my dog wear this and suffer.

Comfortable enough that our dog can wear it for several hours. There is plenty of room for her to open her mouth to pant or drink water.
