Even though I read the sizes before buying, these collars are much smaller (narrower) than I expected. That being said, they are of a durable leather, and both the clasp and ring are securely attached. My cats wear them without complaining (i.e., trying to take them off).
my kitten clawed up his cute nylon collar with scratching at it till it frayed & he's almost a year old so I thought I'd get him a nice leather one. This is NOT it. It's really cheaply made, not sure it's actually leather either. Very plain. I'm sure I'll be looking for better soon!
My cat loves this collar. It's adjustable so it's very comfortable. It's a pretty royal blue ad it matches his eye color perfectly. It just seems to walk taller since he's been earing it. Eden thanks you so much.
This is an excellent choice for collar being cat can't lose it and security it offers, it stays on and kitties can't get it off by pulling up.
My little Pixie kept "losing" her breakaway collars so I "fixed" that problem. Within a few days I found 2 of her replacement collars and now she wears her original tags.
My cat, Peanut, wears her new, pink collar with pride. I made a little, heart-shaped information tag to add to it and it looks nice next to her white fur.
I like that my boy cat couldn't get this off until he figured out how to chew through the elastic. I repaired it but the collars were big for both cats. They need more holes for better sizing
My cat was able to get the collar off even though it was snug on his neck. I can’t find the collar.
So, the small was too small for my guy, but the large is a little too loose even on the smallest setting, but it seems to stay on him ok. We initially bought him a nylon collar, but when he grooms he grooms the collar, too, and his tongue must be super course because in a couple months the collar was so frayed I was worried it would snap off. So, we upgraded to this leather one. So far he grooms it the same way, but a month or so in and the collar has sustained no damage as a consequence of his grooming. He could also get the nylon break away collar off on his own and I was always hunting it down. He has not managed to remove this one. My guy does not go outside, so milage may vary for cats that do. He is special needs and this collar is just in case he does get out, to alert people to his immediate medical needs and provide the vet and my contact info. We hope to never need it, but knowing he has it is a stress reducer.
Bright orange cat collar looks terrific on my dark gray cat! Soft and supple! Cute blue bell! Fits well!
