He likes these pretty well, but he seems to have lost interest in little objects he plays with himself. He used to be entertained by just about anything. He’d bat them around on his own until he lost them under the furniture. He likes these as well as anything but these days that’s not enough to keep him engaged.

Quality Control?

I trusted Catstages to have a well made feather toy, which I don't usually buy, but these were a complete disappointment. Checking the feather tops to make sure they were secure. I felt sharp Quills sticking out. I pulled on the quills and a huge hunk of quill and feather came off in my fingers- it was a thick chunk of quill and thread and feather. This was something that if a cat swallowed could possibly choke them or block their intestine!!! We've already had one cat through intestinal surgery for something they swallowed and this is why I never buy feather toys normally. Never again and I'm so disappointed in cats stages for the lack of quality control. So I would recommend supervising your fur babies when they play with these and make sure to check the feathers that they are not like this.

Good product

It's difficult for me to review products because my cat is a bit strange when it comes to toys. She's an inside/outside cat and she catches a lot of mice outdoors

It's difficult for me to review products because my cat is a bit strange when it comes to toys. She's an inside/outside cat and she catches a lot of mice outdoors. She loves moving targets. The toys are nice and well-constructed. She played with it once, but now she's bored. There's nothing at all wrong with the toy, it's just my weird cat.

A few negatives to call out: - The adhesive or the material itself of the feathers degrades over time. In about a year, the fluff had completely disintegrated, causing a mess. Swallowing hazard. - some of these had hard 'spikes' coming out of the top, as others have noted, which are very poky, could hurt mouths or eyes - wouldn't call this a dental toy, its not shaped in a way conducive to chewing and the 'dental webbing' is neligible. That said, they are cute at first. My cat didn't play with them, but he's picky and your milage may vary in that regard.

They choose this over the many other toys

The cats grabbed it out of their toy bin, which means they have a preference for it. They both play with it and that never happens with store bought toys

Durable

The only toy Noodle plays with. Often I went up cutting off the green feathers so she doesn’t eat them, but it is the perfect size. She throws it up in the air
