Kittens love this toy. Pro tip is to remove 1 ball from each level. They pop out easily and it comes with 2 on each level for 6 total. Two on each level doesn’t let them spin in circles as much and they love to do that. 1 ball per level is like the perfect spin and play amount. Then toss those extra balls on the ground and the kittens also love to chase and bat those around like soccer balls so it’s a win win with 2 toys in one

At first, he avoided it and didn't play with it. He was more interested in playing with me and chasing the wand around. Once he warmed up to my house and became more comfortable being independent, he started playing by himself. He quickly warmed up to the CatStages tower of tracks toy. After play time with me, he goes right to the tower of tracks. He gets a lot of enjoyment out of it. It could be a little more heavy duty. Jacapo is a tiny kitten, about t pounds, and he can easily move and knock over the tower toy. The balls are pretty light weight as well. I think it would be more satisfying for Jacapo if the balls were a bit heavier. One thing I started doing with the kitten is, after he does something good like using his scratch post or following a direction, I'll reward him with some temptations snacks and I'll place them around the rings of the tower toy. He has to fish them out with his paw to eat them. Makes him work for his snacks a little.

What I like about this toy is that it has a non detachable plastic piece across the center top. Other ball track toys may not. A kitten could easily get its small head stuck in the opening without having that piece on top. As far as play time our cats all love this toy! I hear them playing at night with it as well

It is not as good as other similar towers with rolling balls. The balls don't roll as smoothly on this one as they do on other similar models. My cat used this once

It is not as good as other similar towers with rolling balls. The balls don't roll as smoothly on this one as they do on other similar models. My cat used this once and ignored it afterwards because he is used to another one where the balls move faster and have less friction on the tower so they move for longer. I'd recommend choosing a different tower.

not being much of a player, zen was hard to shop for in the toy department. nothing seemed to interest her fussy self. but i notice that she will occasionally swat at the colorful balls of this toy when she ambles by on her way to dinner. and for all i know, zen may be well on her way to becoming a nighttime party animal with her new toy.
