Does this drill into wall? Or how does it work someone said it was free standing but the picture shows otherwise

You do not have to drill this gate into a wall. This gate uses easy to install and quick-release, adjustable mount hardware that allows gate to be removed when not needed.

I just purchased this pet gate and I need the 24"extension, can't seem to find it listed. Help

Is this gate for outdoor use?

This gate is not designed for outdoor use, only indoor use. It's not constructed for the outside elements such as wind, rain or snow.

How much space is between slats. I have very small dogs.

This is perfect for our front porch entry. It keeps our small pups on the porch and our small grandkids form accidentally falling down the steps. Easy to open and looks good too. This is our second gate. The first lasted 7 years being exposed to the weather.

Nice in general once put together. Pieces are label in instruction book but no labels on actual pieces. The wall bracket (one) was stuck in place and would not slide

Nice in general once put together. Pieces are label in instruction book but no labels on actual pieces. The wall bracket (one) was stuck in place and would not slide apart so screw had to be put in from outside. Not easy to put together but finished project was good . Box damaged on arrival and had been opened previously. No parts missing .

Seems to be pretty sturdy but opening the gate is more difficult than with another model that we have in the home. It takes a bit of upward force which could eventually loosen the entire assembly if you aren't careful. Unfortunately, the other model that we have isn't available in the length that we needed. As always, Chewy's customer service was exceptional when we found that we were missing a part.

Love the walk through gate

I love the look of this gate. The walk through gate is also an added bonus since the actual gate itself is pretty tall. I’m using this to keep my cats away from

I love the look of this gate. The walk through gate is also an added bonus since the actual gate itself is pretty tall. I’m using this to keep my cats away from the front door. Since I’m renting, I am attaching the gate to the wall using command strips. Even with that, I haven’t had any issues with stability. The gaps between the gate are pretty large. My kittens are only 13 weeks old and can fit through easily. I am hoping that they will out grow that ability soon. If not, I will be gifting this to my parents who have gates all over the house for their dog and could really benefit from a walk though gate design.
