You get what you pay for, I guess. This cat tree is very cheaply made. The box doesn't align with the hole for the bottom screw. The rope doesn't fully cover the legs, so the staples are visible. I know it gives the measurements, but that is not what you get. Everything runs too short and too small.

This was so hard to put together, holes didn’t line up. Finally gave up and threw it away. Couldn’t be bothered packing it up and returning it

Misalignment equals frustration
I bought this for my 7mo old cat. It looked cute in the image on the website. However, the holes are misaligned or missing resulting in me having to do more work

I couldn't put the bed at top bc the base couldn't be assembled as the image due to misaligned holes. So the scratching board is at top. I had to cut the fabric for the hut myself in order to put the screw threw. Don't buy even if the price is enticing.

If you are looking for a tree that saves space, this is the one. My cat loves to eat on her tree and the usual cat tree tops are super small. This one is more elongated

This one is more elongated in order for her to fit a little easier. For reference she is a year old and is under 12 lbs. Amazing tree though, not too tall and not too short or small. Definitely recommend.

This is a very small cat tree. The base is not sturdy enough to keep the top from wobbling when cats jump on it so it was a safety issue. We carpeted and attached
This is a very small cat tree. The base is not sturdy enough to keep the top from wobbling when cats jump on it so it was a safety issue. We carpeted and attached a wider base to it (discarded the original). The "box" on the bottom is just a frame covered with fabric "secured" with elastic, so it is not a solid construct. Our cats have a lot of fun sticking their paws through when playing with one another but they ripped holes in the sides immediately. If you're looking for a small cat tree that you plan to replace soon, then this might work. Our young cats will destroy it in no time.
