The only medicine that's helping my cat, Jax, is 5mg generic for Zyrtec. It's over the counter (OTC) at 10mg, so I snap the tablet in half and crush it in his (wet) food bowl, then mix it in. Jax DOESN'T smell or taste it and his food's all gobbled up. His rash on his belly is clearing up. He'll always have allergy problems, but this helps.

Our cat has been licking and itching herself everywhere for over a year and we have tried EVERYTHING. She is also a tortie and absolutely impossible to pill or sneak any medication in her food or treats. She sniffs it out immediately and won’t eat it, even the churus I tried sneaking the prednisolone in. We got our cat allergy tested and started giving her shots every week but as you know it takes a long time before you start seeing the results from the allergy shots, and we weren’t even sure if that was what was causing her terrible itchiness. After lots of research I found this medication and asked our vet if we could try it and she absolutely agreed. Now we got the chicken flavor and it does smell like a rotisserie chicken, but of course, she did not like it and wouldn’t touch it. So my husband and I have to work as a team to be able to give her this every day. However it is worth it! I will say it’s taken just about a month before I could tell it started working and now my poor kitty doesn’t have to spend most of her days with the donut around her neck. I’m a believer and I will gladly pay whatever it costs for this miracle in a bottle. I am so very happy my sweet girl is finally able to just sleep and relax and play without having to constantly itch herself. Thank you so much Chewy for compounding this medication.

Great!

We’re able to mix this into her wet food and she doesn’t even taste it! Makes administering this medication much easier.

Cyclosporine compounded

My cat hated the non compounded version. When she tasted this one, she now takes it willingly and enthusiastically. I'm very happy.

People at Chewy are very efficient

We are trying to get Blaze's platelets up, so hopefully the cyclosporin will help him.
