This is not a safe food for dogs with chicken, turkey or beef allergies. The "liver" despite what Chewy's Q&A site states, is not always pork liver. When I contacted

When I contacted Dave's directly here is their answer " This product is formulated with pork liver and primarily manufactured with pork liver. However during times of supply challenges, the pork liver may be replaced with another source of liver such as chicken, turkey, or beef." We must have gotten a batch with either Turkey or Beef because my dog had an allergic reaction. Lesson learned to always contact the manufacturer directly and do not rely on Chewy's Q&A.

My little Biewer is such a picky eater that I took him to the Vet. The Vet did x-rays of his stomach and complete blood panel on him and everything was fine, no health problems to explain why a 9 pound dog only weighed 7 pounds in a year. I have been trying many different dog foods with no success until I got this and he eats every last bite of it and looks for more. He loves it!!
