After mixing with water, how long will a portion last in the refrigerator?

Once the product has water added, it is very similar to an opened canned product. We suggest covering and using within 48 hours if stored in the refrigerator.

What’s the consistency of this food? Is this powdered or like kibble?

Dog loved it, his stomach did not

Concerned about composition

I bought this for my pup Miracle, who has renal abnormalities. However, I use it only as a topper to his prescription food for a few reasons. Pup’s not crazy about

I bought this for my pup Miracle, who has renal abnormalities. However, I use it only as a topper to his prescription food for a few reasons. Pup’s not crazy about it but more importantly because it contains a bit more protein percent-wise than I expected and I don’t know if it’s actually certified by vets as appropriate for dogs with renal dysfunction. There is a claim to that effect but nothing on the actual package that I bought. While pricewise it seems OK, I’ll stick with the standard brands that my vet considers acceptable as a prescription food for my pup. Thanks

Smells bad, not edible

I would avoid this product, my dog is a good eater normally but the smell, and I assume taste, of this product is terrible. Waste of $45.00

Do not recommend

The very first time my dog ate this he got sick! I transitioned him by mixing a little of his regular food with Daves Kidney food. The second day same thing vomiting

The very first time my dog ate this he got sick! I transitioned him by mixing a little of his regular food with Daves Kidney food. The second day same thing vomiting and this time diarrhea, I call chewy and told them about it and they credited me back my money. I wish I read the reviews first. My vet told me to put my dog on a low phosphorus kidney diet. At this point the food I had him on was working great no vomiting no diarrhea ever. So, I am sticking with my Honest Kitchen dog food which is dehydrated food not some ground up dry dog food!
