Does it have to be rinsed?

Answer by ChewyFeb 20, 2018
This product doesn't need to be rinsed off.

How often can this be applied?

Answer by ChewyMay 30, 2019
It's recommended to spray a thin layer directly on affected areas twice daily or as directed by a veterinarian. Do not get into eyes or nose. If condition doesn't improve, consult with a vet.

Do you have to put a cone on your cat when using this?

Answer by ChewyAug 05, 2024
You do not need to put a cone on the pet when using the spray. If a pet happens to lick the area, the taste is unpleasant which generally deters the licking. Additionally, in most situations the product ingredients are absorbed into the coat/skin. There has not been any problems associated with a cat grooming itself. However; all pets react differently and if you are concerned, you could choose to put a cone on your cat during use of the product.

Can it be used in the dog’s ears?

Answer by ChewyNov 30, 2023
This spray is only recommended for topical use.

I have ordered this three times so far, first time I thought was a fluke, but last two bottles are same. The sprayer bottle DOESN'T work. And the last two bottles I just received, were both leaking in the plastic package they were sent in, its very messy. Also probably wasted a lot of the stuff so unusable!

I purchased this product in hopes to give my furbaby some kind of relief from his allergies but nothing seems to work. It's kind of pricey for a small bottle but I gave it a go and will have to try something else. I know you can't get rid of allergies but to find some relief would be Great!

This product is great if your dog suffers from skin allergies particularly yeast infections and it’s literally 1/2 the price of most yeast killing products

Turns out most cats have reactions to this specific antifungal and you should be very careful. one of my cats also did lick their fur I believe, nothing crazy as their tongue and throat were not red or swollen like their ears were but their lips got so irritated they were drooling profusely and I thought they were frothing at the mouth. they subsequently had scabs and scarring around their lips. I'm lucky I caught it when I did and rinsed it off. be very careful using this product.

This stuff is a bit oily, but it works!

Only brand out there with legit anti-fungal % (2%), properties in a topical solution. Thanks Mr. Davis.

Horrible reaction

This spray made my dog’s swell and hurt more. Could just be his reaction but I won’t use it again.

Most dogs don’t sit still for long. This spray is so much easier to apply than a cream. It’s non-aerosol so my dog is not startled by the sound and velocity. I’ve been using it for ringworm topical treatment for a couple weeks, and the sports are noticeably smaller and his hair is growing back nicely. Ringworm takes months to treat, so I’m happy to find a product that works. The spray is a bit oily but soaks into the skin. He does not have the urge to lick the area. I apply the spray before we go outside, and by the time we return, he forgets about it. This is the only topical product I have tried that doesn’t dry out the sports and make my dog scratch. I think that’s why he is healing faster. Highly recommend.
