Would it be safe for my petite golden doodle to lick it after it’s applied to her paws or wherever else needed?

Not as helpful

Kitties have dry skin and hot spots due to winter and fireplace heat....generally, they don't like anything sprayed on them so I would spray a cloth and rub that on the areas on them that were in need of relief. Even I could smell a strong alcohol smell and it sent them running. Really couldn't continue to use this. Purchasing an ointment next order to see if that works better.
