Is it possible to turn off or remove the LED light inside the fountain?

The LED light inside the fountain can be turned off. However, please note that when the light is turned off, there is one important consideration: it becomes difficult to see the remaining water level in the tank. Additionally, when the water level is low, the LED light is designed to turn red to remind users to refill the fountain. If the light is turned off, this visual reminder will not be available.

This fountain is for my 5 indoor cats and was easy to assemble and set up. Finding a place to put it in my kitchen with access to an electrical outlet was my first concern but I was able to work that issue out and still keep the fountain on the floor. Getting the cats on board with using it as their new water bowl was the next step. For the first couple of days, they just stared at it curiously wondering why I added a new Zen, bubbling water feature to the kitchen. Then one of the cats bravely decided to try it out and gradually the other cats followed. The blue night light is a nice feature which also helps illuminate the markings on the side of the bowl to let you know when the water level is getting low. It's also very quiet. With 5 cats I do have to refill and clean the plastic bowl frequently. A stainless-steel fountain would be a better choice. My other concerns are about the longevity of the pump and having the expense of replacing the filters on a monthly basis. Also having a rechargeable capability instead of plugging into an outlet would be a better option. Anyway, the cats now seem to be enjoying the fountain as their new water source now that they are used to it.

This is a great fountain for the price! My senior cats had never used a water fountain before, but they’ve really taken to it. They seem to enjoy the constantly moving water, and I love knowing it encourages them to stay hydrated. The built-in light is a nice touch too—it makes it easy to see the water level and adds a cozy glow at night. Setup was simple and it runs quietly. Definitely a good choice if you’re looking for an affordable fountain that pets actually like!

Does NOT ACTUALLY filter the water.

I watched the demo videos & wasn’t sure how it filtered but now that it’s assembled & running I can see that the water comes up through a tube that goes through

I watched the demo videos & wasn’t sure how it filtered but now that it’s assembled & running I can see that the water comes up through a tube that goes through the hole in the center of the filter. With 2 boys tearing through our living space I wanted a fountain that removes fur & floaters from the surface of the water as well. This was the only fountain that I saw that removed floaters. I have a fridge water filter but was hoping this would remove any residual impurities. Eh. It’s quiet but I’m disappointed.

The option to turn off the led is great for sleeping in the same room. They are hesitant to use it but I don’t hear any sound so I’m sure they will get used to it.

I really didn’t expect this to be all that great, but it really is! It’s super quiet and the flowing water doesn’t splatter all over the floor which is nice. The best thing about it, though, is that my dog absolutely loves it, and that’s the most important thing, right? I love that it has a light so that he can easily find it at night (and we don’t bump into it). Yes, my cat uses it too, but not to the same degree, which I find amusing.
