Always wash your hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter, as cat feces may contain Toxoplasma gondii—a parasite that can cause toxoplasmosis. Pregnant or nursing women, as well as children and anyone with a weakened immune system, should avoid handling used cat litter. Always handle litter in a ventilated area to avoid inhalation. Keep contents and packaging out of reach of children and pets. Seek medical help in case of accidental ingestion.

Why did I receive a different product than what I saw on site and purchased?
It is the same product you purchased but we are undergoing a re-brand and are in the process of updating all the packaging. The old design is what you may have received but the new design is what you see on site.
Has the litter changed in any way?
No, it is the same great Frisco litter you expect. There have been no changes to the product ONLY the packaging design.
Frisco Paper litter is non-clumping.
This litter is unscented and features baking soda to reduce litter box odors.
No, paper pellets are too large for a sifting or self-cleaning box to work effectively.
Paper pellets are typically sized between 1 length 1 length.
Since paper pellets swell when saturated and could cause septic system blockage, we would not recommend flushing.

This litter is better than yesterday's news. It absorbs quickly and grows showing what has to be discarded. It doesn't leave dirt all over your floors because of them trailing it out of the box. Another brand of this leaves cement like footprints on your floors. I have 2 liter boxes and my cats love it.
I've tried a few brands of paper pellet litter, and unfortunately this type has been the worst at blocking ammonia smells. Usually I can go a week on the same batch of pellets but this litter started to smell even with regular cleaning in 4 days or so
This is NOTHING like Yesterday's News -- the paper litter that was discontinued :(. The litter REEKS out of the bag! I think they don't dehydrate it enough??? -- smells moldy to me. I have tried several bags to see if it was just a glitch, but nope it stinks! Go with another brand or switch to the Oxbow wheat pellet litter like I have for my rabbits.
This is a very good quality paper litter. It doesn't track. I use it in the Breeze Litter system. It works well in there and is less expensive than the pellets. My cat likes it just fine. All those things make it a good value.
Filled with loose & embedded plastic. Defeats the purpose of a safe litter that small kittens won’t ingest and renders the product less effective.
I wanted to try a different non-clumping litter since the other brands I get are more expensive. My cat used the litter like twice then just went outside of the litter box. I personally will spend the money to keep my cat going in the litter box.
I like this litter. Also, it comes in a very large amount which, in turn, lasts quite a while. I foster cats and kittens. The adult cats are quite ok with the paper litter. However, the kittens need to be trained to it and, if given a choice, they will usually go to the regular litter. While it says it is non-clumping, I find that solids tend to stick to it (making it almost clumping) and the wet litter is also quite easy to pick up. I would definitely order this litter again.
I bought this because I hated having so much cat litter on the floors with tracking so I have a regular litter box and then a paper litter box to give my cats options. They use both. I agree that other brands mask the scent better, but I think I prefer if I can tell if it smells because cats have strong sense of smell and I wouldn’t want them using a smelly box (just like I don’t like using a smelly / gross bathroom) I add a thin layer to the box and change the whole thing either daily or before and after work. It solves any scooping or snell issues! I have two litter boxes that I use paper pellets and one regular. The big bag lasts a little over a week and my house is cleaner, cats have options, and it’s cheaper than buying the one brand I buy for three boxes and then litter all over the house. So if you want to use it, just change it out daily. Your cats deserve a clean place to use the bathroom just like we flush the toilet after every use!
Ive always used recycled paper cat litter. For some reason my cats where not liking this one at all. I had to purchase another litter brand as soon as possible because it had a strong odor coming off it making my cat incessantly try to cover a smell before even using it...IF she even did use it. Wasent a good experience. Still have plenty left I cant use without her meowing about it.
My rabbit is slightly handicapped and the paper pellets are more comfortable on his feet then the wire on a cage. It was s great find, thank you!
