I can't feed this to my dog

This review is about the product itself, not Chewy...I looked into what "meats" were best for dogs with itchy skin. Several sources listed salmon, followed by duck and lamb. So I came here to Chewy where I buy all my pet supplies, and looked for salmon. This came up, touting that it's good for itchy skin dogs. So I got it. As soon as I opened the bag, I seriously started to almost vomit. I had to leave the bag and the room to get away from the smell. I calmed down, didn't hurl. Came back, tried to get a scoop into the bag, started to almost vomit again. I literally can't feed this to my dog. I had to give it away. So for my experience, this is not a good product because I can't use it. However, I cannot say that it would not work for the dog, I didn't get a chance to see. I'm sure there are plenty of others who don't have such sensitivities to the smell of salmon dog food. I sure didn't think I'd have such an issue with it though.

Ok food, smells funky. Not like food. Good price range for hydrolyzed, not a fan of the high pea content. Worth a try! My dog didn't NEED hydrolyzed, so went with a different brand with more protein/actual meat content instead. She ate it ok though! Just not for us for permanent diet.

After a couple of years of trying to find a good dog food, a reasonably priced dog food, I think this Natural Diamond for Sensitive Skin is working. The dogs like it. We "parents" like it. And Chewy carried it up the steps to our front porch. Hoorays all around!

No itching!!! Saving $$$$

if you are looking for an alternative to prescription allergy food this may be an option. I did not see any increased itchiness. The only real noticeable difference

if you are looking for an alternative to prescription allergy food this may be an option. I did not see any increased itchiness. The only real noticeable difference is her poops are much larger in comparison.

Stinky

Bought this cause my dogs were having some itching issues. It helped some but not to the extent I hoped. Its definitely stinky even compared to other dog foods

Her farting

Mia poops 3 to 4 times a day still but her farts were horrendous. And that is completely gone from a 10 to probably oh one. Now, if we just get her to lose a little

Dog loves it

When mixing for changing of food, dog picked out all the old food and eats all the new food, then later if still hungry he will go eat the scraps from old food!
