FIRM UP supports stool consistency and regularity in dogs and cats. It does this through the fiber in the Whole Pumpkin and Apple Fiber. It works great when switching foods or when GI upset occurs unexpectedly. It works for both diarrhea and constipation. How? Diarrhea is a LACK of water absorption the colon and lower bowel. Fiber (FIRM UP) directly aids in forming solid stool by slowing down digestion and the passage of waste, giving the body more time to naturally absorb water. On the other paw, Constipation is TOO MUCH water reabsorbing into the body due to the slow passage of waste matter through the colon. The result is dry and difficult to pass stools. Fiber (FIRM UP) will keep some of this water from being re - absorbed by the colon, giving the colon the fluids needed for hard to pass stools.
All of our products are to be fed once a day or in 1 meal of the day with the exception of Urinary Berry that is to be fed twice per day.
Nope! FiRM UP can be fed to your pet dry or mixed with water. We encourage mixing the product into the food with a little bit of water to make it easier for your pet to consume and avoid ""orange beard'.
You will mix equal amounts of product and water. So let's say you have a 20 lb dog. Your would mix 1 - 2 tsp of product and 1 - 2 tsp of water. The amounts are on the back of the packaging for reference.
Always consult with your Veterinarian prior to feeding any food supplement, but there should not be any problems with the age of the dog/cat. However, puppies/kittens under the age of 12 weeks and pregnant/nursing mothers should be monitored more closely.
Definitely! Our products work excellent on cats! There is a dosage on every product for cats/cat weights.
NEVER! Use what you need when you need it and put the rest back in the cupboard/pantry! Our products are 100% shelf stable and ZERO WASTE products.?
Yes... all of the above.
All Diggin' Your Dog products are 100% sourced in the USA. From the ground to the bag they come from domestic sources. Our Super Snouts brand has some ingredients that are selectively sourced outside of the USA... For Example: Green Lipped Mussel from New Zealand... the only place on earth to source it. Egyptian Fennel (in Our GI Balance) is THE BEST fennel for gas. The USA is good at a lot of products... but we aren't the best at absolutely everything! No ingredients are sourced from China.
Our treats are handcrafted / hand - packed for us by our partner in California. All of our other products/supplements are formulated, handcrafted and hand - packed in our facility in Reno, NV. We like to use to people, not machines to make our products.
Most commercial pet foods include baseline vitamins and nutrients, but some may not have the adequate amount to suit your pet's exact health needs. Like in humans, vitamins and supplements can help support your pet's long-term health, regulating everything from digestion to muscle growth. Consult your veterinarian to determine the best vitamins and supplements for your furry friend.
It is recommended to give the suggested dosage based off your pet's weight. Please refer to the Feeding Instructions tab and consult with your veterinarian for more information.

We have 2 bully mix dogs, one is 4 years old and the other is 5 years old. The 5 year old has a sensitive stomach and sometimes the 4 year old will go through a period of 'soft' stools. We have tried a few different products including canned pumpkin to help alleviate these issues with mixed results. We have been using this product now for about 3 weeks and I must say we are having very good results for both of them. We actually do not even give them the recommended dosage for their weights and we are still getting good results - nicely firm stools. We mix it in their food with a little warm water and they really seem to enjoy the taste as well. Highly recommend.
I got this to use instead of psyllium powder for my dog that has had GI issues since she was about a year old (currently 2 years old). This powder and the treatment/ medicine from the vet finally did get her regular back there and she likes it on her food too! So thankful this was part of what made her feel better. We use it once a day for daily fiber with no issues.
This product is fantastic. I have 5 dogs and this has made a positive improvement in their stool firmness. No more runny poops. Sure makes my life easier!
I was using canned pumpkin and this is so much easier. It works as well, possibly even better than the straight pumpkin and my dog loves it,
This pumpkin is the best ever for a dog that has stomach issues. Since using it with his food, he has never had a loose stool or stomach issues since. Great addition to his meals.
My 10 mo. Old Goldendoodle was having ongoing anal gland issues. Had them expressed and then added this supp (using 3T for 60# dog). Her poops have firmed up and she is no longer showing any signs of discomfort. Hoping she dies ok when we take a break from it. She loves the taste mixed with water as a food topper or in a cup.
My 2 year old has struggled with soft stool since 2 months old. We have tried so many products to firm things up to no avail. I saw improvement immediately after the first use. Finally normal, healthy looking poops!
We have been using this product for a couple of weeks now and it does seem to be helping.
Our retriever mix has occasional need for this. It works well for her and she eats it up when we sprinkle it on her food. Our cats though wont go for it.
My one cat has a touchy tummy and he ate this without any problem. My other cat ate it as well without any problems. The dog wasn't as big a fan but ate it.
