Helps with chronic diarrhea
My 5 month Rottie puppy has had diarrhea since day one, even after several rounds of worming treatments and trying to rid of Giardia. He seems to respond best to high-fiber foods typically for weight management. I say this only to help others with similar issues. He also currently gets a total of 6 of these daily... which is less than recommended on the package. But I think many people do not give their dog the full dose. It's up to you to find the best dosage that works for your dog. It is really helpful for further relief of tummy troubles. I hope one day my dog grows out of this issue, but at least for now with this and high-fiber food, most of his poops are formed.
ProPectalin
I have a greyhound with PLE, protein losing enteropathy, a potentially deadly disease. I am very pleased with the results of diarrhea control from ProPectalin tablets. Not as pleased with price, though. On the expensive side.
First Solid Poop in 5 Weeks!
My 110 lb dane was on antibiotics for 3 weeks which completely wiped her gut flora. Cue massive piles of soft serve 2x a day for 5 weeks. This has helped after one day! After 2 days completely solid poops. As for how big the tablets are, I crush them up with a mortar and pestle and sprinkle over her kibble. She doesn’t mind the taste.
Diarrhea pills
Works well. Pup tends to have diarrhea after vaccinations and was using it after the dewormer when we adopted. It would be nice if we could buy smaller quantities however
Works great but not always easy to administer
The supplement is nothing short of miraculous, and is very effective remedying upset stomach and diarrhea of my 5 month old Mini Goldendoodle. However, the tablets are huge, and I have to break it into quarters to give to the pup. Not really a big deal, as they break easily. You loose a tiny bit in crumbling. Also, sometime Max would eat it without me hiding it in something (which tells me that they, at the very least, not awfully tasting, but some time I have to hide quarters into cheese or PB - but rarely he would not touch it even then, so I crush it into food. I would still recommend it very highly.
This stuff works!
Two of my dogs began with severe diarrhea. I ordered this first in the tube along with Dogzymes probiotic paste, also in a tube. Received in a couple days. Within a 24-48 hours, diarrhea was gone. Changed to a very bland diet also (basically only chicken and slowly worked in the chicken Freshpet food). When I realized how well this formulation worked, I ordered the larger size tablets and have been supplementing daily for more than a week to ensure the diarrhea doesn't return (suspected pancreatitis). I love that this has probiotics also. But, I do add the powder form of Dogzymes to their regular diet as well. This was a lifesaver for my doggies! It has been almost 2 weeks, and they seem to have completely recovered. Won't be without this stuff again. Definitely a staple item.
Good product
Very good product for my dog that suffers from stress colitis. If you start using it early, it is very effective.
WOW surprised me
Great stuff. Saved my dog from a lot of discomfort. It also saved my yard. Diarrhea is not that easy to scoop. I have continued giving him 1 dose(4) Tables in the morning daily.

Excellent product
My two large dogs (80 lb greyhound, 99 lb Lab mix) both have long term GI issues - this has really helped!
