Dofu Cat Unscented Coffee & Bean Clumping Tofu Cat Litter, 5.5-lb bag

I have tried multiple types of litter, and I was hopeful this would deliver with the steep price. Unfortunately, when this litter gets wet it becomes very sticky and stuck to my cat's tail as well as all over the bottom of the box. I felt like I didn't control the smell as well as the crystal litter I used previously and it still tracked all over the floor and was hard to vacuum up.

I have 3 cats and usually use a corn based clumping litter. The coffee scent of this litter intrigued me, and I have a notorious dust tracker (orange cat, of course haha), so wanted to see how this might be for less dust. The shape of the litter pellets is different. The cats didn't seem to mind, and all readily used it while boxes with their old litter were still available. It's definitely less dust. The coffee scent is very discreet, not really too noticeable. The litter does also seem to be better with odor control. The only negatives are that the pellets didn't sift as easily with my particular scooper, and it doesn't clump quite as well. The clumps are kind of gummy and stick to the box a little. Overall, a good product. The cats accepted it well, and there is less stink and dust!

I wanted to try it out and see how my cats would react to this litter instead of their usual and I am impressed with how it performed. My cats didn’t even hesitate to use it. It clumped well and didn’t stick to our cat’s paws. The tracking is also pretty minimal. Since it was also coffee I fully prepared myself for a strong scent, but to my surprise, it was pleasantly tolerable. I might even say it is less fragrant than some of the other brands of tofu cat litter we have tried out before, but this is what makes it more pleasant for our cats. They usually don’t like fragrant litters and the Dofu Coffee and Bean litter was just right for them to instantly be attracted to their new fresh bed of litter.
