What is an ESA support canine

An ESA Support K-9 is a dog who has been trained to be an emotional support animal. An emotional support animal has been trained to provide therapeutic benefits to their owner through affection and companionship.
For the Asa k9 patch what is the dimension in length and with in inches

The Small measures 3 inches long by 1 inches wide, the Medium measures 4 inches long by 1.5 inches wide, and the Large measures 6 inches long by 2 inches wide.
what is the hook and loop mean, I have velcro now will it with my vest I already have

Velcro is another name for a hook and loop fastener, and the two should be compatible.
can you substitute a patch such as service dog...don't need to of the same

Patch backing

Patch description: Hook and loop backing keeps patches securely in place, while also making them easy to remove when needed. Velcro Definition: The rough side is called the hook. And the soft side is called the loop. The hook and loop fastener's name was inspired by how the technology works. Patch has only hook side. No loop (soft-side) side Velcro included to secure patch to item.

Patch sticks well and looks good

The patch is great for my dog. If you disregard the fact that it technically says "emotional support animal support k-9" which is terrible grammar, it looks good. It is one of the only decent ones I could find for ESAs that looks good and stays on with still having the option to remove.

Measurements

Great item the only suggestion is that it would have been nice to have actual measurements this would make it easier to choose for the harness that it was going on.

Great product

I prefer embroidered letters, but now that I have these and see how they reflect light in the dark, I like them very much. Purchasing a size that is not the same as the harness hook and loop area, no problem. They don't have to be an exact size, as long as they are a bit shorter than what is affixed to the harness. These are working great on the Chai's Choice Service Dog Vest Harness I purchased. The Chai's Choice comes with "Service Dog" but my dog is not a "Service Dog," she is a "Emotional Support Dog." There is a difference so I purchased these tags as well so as to not misrepresent my dog's purpose for me.

Bad product

The lettering will not last any time at all. I hope Chewy.com will find a different company for these. I have had these less than 3 months and the words can hardly be seen.

Super Helpful

These patches are great. Large and very visible. They are very helpful when we are out. They really identify my emotional support animal in public.
