This could have been a better experience if i had known that in my situation there were longer contacts available for this item. I could have ordered both and been able to use this properly. I have a long hair german shepherd and with frustration of not knowing why the 1900x wasn't working properly i now realize longer contacts are available, but aren't available or recommended on chewy.

This thing is rugged and I have no doubt in my mind that it will last through all kinds of weather. One of my dogs is off leash trained and has lost much of his hearing, but is still an adventurous guy. By using the tone (which surprisingly he can hear) and vibration mode, he can venture farther and do what he loves without me needing to worry. If you are going to use an electronic collar in any capacity, using a high quality one is a must. I would recommend the 1900x, it is worth it to have something reliable.

My dog and I spend a lot of time outdoors and it doesn’t matter if he’s jumping in a stream or chasing deer through the trees, I’m always able to get his attention and maintain control. The different options are great and the range seems to be true. I wish Chewy carried the handsfree squares for the 1900X!

Fantastic Training Tool

I have really enjoyed using this product as a training aid. I use the vibration and tone modes for off leash distance training. I also like that it is waterproof

I have really enjoyed using this product as a training aid. I use the vibration and tone modes for off leash distance training. I also like that it is waterproof and can be used on hikes and impromptu swims in lakes and rivers. I have use other E-trainers and this one is by far my favorite. Highly recommend this product in your training regimen.

Good quality build (handles GSDs wrestling), low profile, nice loud tone (perfect for recall), and the light allowed us to remove a third-party light we had to install on the previous collar (1900s). We intend on transitioning all the dogs to the 1900x. In the photos, the pink collar is the 1900X and orange collar is the 1900s.
